{"id":1131513,"date":"2019-08-08T08:15:20","date_gmt":"2019-08-08T13:15:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mining.com\/?p=998785"},"modified":"2019-08-08T08:15:20","modified_gmt":"2019-08-08T13:15:20","slug":"vancouvers-deeprock-acquires-golden-gate-gold-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/?p=1131513","title":{"rendered":"Vancouver\u2019s DeepRock acquires Golden Gate gold project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DeepRock Minerals (CSE:DEEP) just acquired, by the way of option, the Golden Gate gold project in New Brunswick, eastern Canada.<\/p>\n<div class='d-flex justify-content-center'>\n<div id='div-gpt-ad-1561499308230-0'><script>googletag.cmd.push(function() {googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1561499308230-0');});<\/script><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>In a press release, the Vancouver-based miner who explained that Golden Gate is located in Gloucester County about 11 kilometres NW of Bathurst, locally known as the Falls Grid.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote alignright\">\n<blockquote>\n<p>DeepRock says access to the historic work undertaken on the project is within 1 kilometre north of the main access road<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The project occupies three exploration blocks comprising 13 claim units that total 270 hectares.<\/p>\n<p>According to DeepRock, historic exploration dates back to the fall of 2002, when the project underwent a program of works consisting of the establishment of a grid of cut lines, geologic, soil geochemical surveys, lithogeochemical and geophysical surveys.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This work was a success, thanks to the discovery of the mineralized erratic blocks (12% Zn, 4.03% Pb, 0.07% Cu, 280 g\/T Ag and 1.18 g\/T Au) and of gold anomalies in soil (up to 100 ppb Au).
