As part of the move, supplies have not been able to access the mine site.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote alignright\">\n<blockquote>\n<p>Nueva Vizcaya provincial court has rejected company\u2019s injunction against any restraint to operations. OceanaGold will ask the Philippine Court of Appeals to revert lower court\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The miner reacted by filing an injunction against any<br \/>\nrestraint to operations, but the provincial has court denied, it said.<\/p>\n<p>The company will now appeal this decision to the Philippine<br \/>\nCourt of Appeals, in&nbsp;Manila.<\/p>\n<p>OceanaGold has overcome conflict with the Philippines government in the past, including <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mining.com\/philippines-extends-mining-ban-now-forbids-open-pits\/\" >a 2017 plan<\/a> by former environment and natural resources secretary\u00a0\u2014 Regina Lopez \u2014 to suspend several mining operations\u00a0in the country.<\/p>\n<p>While the miner waits for the renewal of its operating license, the country\u2019s industry regulator, Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB), confirmed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mining.com\/oceanagold-denies-shut-down-of-didipio-copper-gold-mine\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">earlier this month<\/a> that Oceana had the right to keep Didipio open.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAuthority over the Didipio mine rests with the national government,\u201d the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newswire.ca\/news-releases\/company-to-appeal-provincial-ruling-denying-injunction-at-didipio-880849841.html\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">said in the statement<\/a>. \u201cThe Local Government Code of 1991 (Republic Act No. 7160) does not grant the power or authority to the Provincial governor or any local government officer to restrain any aspect of the operation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Didipio, which began production in 2013, has a measured and<br \/>\nindicated resource of 1.3 million ounces of gold and 160,000 tonnes of copper<\/p>\n<p>The mine, 270 km north of Manila, is expected to churn out<br \/>\nthis year between 120,000 and 130,000 ounces of gold and 14,000 to 15,000 tonnes<br \/>\nof copper.<\/p>\n<p>The Melbourne-based company also has assets in New Zealand<br \/>\nand the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Before the ongoing disruptions, it expected to produce 500,000<br \/>\nto 550,000 ounces of gold and
