Newcrest has the right to acquire up to a 70% interest&nbsp;for&nbsp;up to $65&nbsp;million.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Greatland\u2019s Paterson project covers more than 385 square&nbsp;kilometres&nbsp;in the Paterson region of Western Australia and includes the&nbsp;Havieron&nbsp;licence, the Paterson Range East&nbsp;licence, and the Black Hills&nbsp;licence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The drill results confirm the presence of high grade copper-gold mineralisation at\u00a0Havieron and highlights \u00a0include 17 m @ 21 g\/t Au and 0.39% Cu from 1153\u00a0metres, Newcrest said in its <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"quarterly exploration report (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newcrest.com.au\/media\/quarterly_reports\/Quarterly_Exploration_Report_-_June_2019.pdf\" >quarterly exploration report<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Newcrest is set to expand its exploration campaign at&nbsp;Havieron&nbsp;from two drill rigs to four. The third drill rig has begun operation and a fourth is scheduled to arrive at site in August.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At market close Thursday, Greatland Gold\u2019s shares had been traded over 122.8 million times on the London Stock exchange.
