{"id":1127593,"date":"2019-07-18T17:28:02","date_gmt":"2019-07-18T22:28:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mining.com\/?p=997023"},"modified":"2019-07-18T17:28:02","modified_gmt":"2019-07-18T22:28:02","slug":"honey-badgers-trading-volume-up-over-100-after-drilling-high-grades-at-beaver","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/?p=1127593","title":{"rendered":"Honey Badger\u2019s trading volume up over 100% after drilling high grades at Beaver"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Honey Badger Exploration&#8217;s (TSX: TUF) stock was up over 16% after the Canadian junior<a href=\"https:\/\/honeybadgerexp.com\/honey-badger-drills-1025-g-t-ageq-over-1-9-metres-true-width-including-1701-g-t-ageq-over-1-1-metres-true-width-at-its-thunder-bay-silver-cobalt-project\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" announced drill results  (opens in a new tab)\"> announced drill results <\/a>from its Thunder Bay, Ontario silver-cobalt project \u2013  Beaver. <\/p>\n<div class='d-flex justify-content-center'>\n<div id='div-gpt-ad-1561499308230-0'><script>googletag.cmd.push(function() {googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1561499308230-0');});<\/script><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The 2,000-metre drilling program was completed in June, a follow-up to the successful 2018 drilling program, where significant high-grade silver mineralization, comprising 682 g\/t silver over 1.1 metres (true width) including 1,254 g\/t silver over 0.6 metres (true width) was intersected in the Beaver vein.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s program intersected the Beaver vein, which contains 1,025 g\/t AgEq over 4 metres (core length), including 1,701 g\/t AgEq over 2.4 metres.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote alignright\">\n<blockquote>\n<p> A second high-grade silver vein, distinct from the Beaver Vein, was intersected <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Four of the holes reported here were successful at extending, 35 metres down-dip, the high-grade silver mineralization of the Beaver Vein, Honey Badger said.  <\/p>\n<p>A second high-grade silver vein, distinct from the Beaver Vein, was intersected indicating that more than one silver-containing vein set is likely in the vicinity of the Beaver mine. Results for 8 holes are still pending.<\/p>\n<p>Honey Badger\u2019s Thunder Bay project include the Beaver Silver, Silver Mountain and Mink Mountain silver properties. There are a total of 12 past producing, high grade mines on the property. <\/p>\n<p>Honey Badger says it will also investigate the cobalt potential at the Beaver project.<\/p>\n<p>At market close, Honey Badger&#8217;s shares had been traded over 5.3 million times on the TSX, up over 100% from the daily average volume of 42,931.
