The incident, however, wasn\u2019t deemed serious enough by the authorities to activate an emergency plan.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Yet, this weekend, people bathing in the San Francisco beach in Guaymas found a dead turtle. In a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"video (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/expresion.guaymas\/videos\/894658057561061\/\" >video<\/a> that went viral on social media and that was shared by <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"local media (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/proyectopuente.com.mx\/2019\/07\/13\/reportan-hallazgo-de-tortuga-muerta-en-playa-san-francisco-de-san-carlos-nuevo-guaymas-video\/\" >local media<\/a> and by conservative <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"MP Carlos Navarrete (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CNavarrete_\/status\/1150230235943620609\" >MP Carlos Navarrete<\/a>, they blamed the toxic discharge for the death of the animal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first spill that Grupo Mexico\u2019s operations have had in Sonora.
