He adds that the 710,000-ounce increase in measured and indicated resource coming from just over one kilometre of strike length represents \u201conly a fraction\u201d of Beta Hunt\u2019s overall potential.<\/p>\n<p>The company plans to provide an updated technical report and reserve estimate for Beta Hunt in the near future so that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mining.com\/gold-production-60-last-year-rnc-minerals-beta-hunt-mine\/\"  rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"full-scale production (opens in a new tab)\">full-scale production<\/a> can resume in Q3 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Beta Hunt mine, located 600 km from Perth in Kambalda, Western Australia, is a deposit with the very rare feature of hosting both nickel and gold resources in adjacent discrete mineralized zones. Two <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mining.com\/rnc-minerals-shares-soar-another-gold-discovery-beta-hunt\/\" >bonanza gold discoveries<\/a> have already been made by RNC over the past year. <\/p>\n<p>The company notes that the high-grade gold found at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"the Father's Day vein (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/mining.com\/rnc-minerals-recovers-giant-gold-slab-mine-australia\/\" >the Father&#8217;s Day vein<\/a> last year are not represented in the  Western Flanks resource model due to the extreme nuggety nature of the mineralization. \u201cThese occurrences are best considered as a potential periodic significant bonus to mine production,\u201d the company says in a
