(TSX: CS) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/capstone-mining-sells-minto-mine-for-up-to-us20-million-300861117.html\"  rel=\"noopener\">announced Tuesday<\/a> it has entered into an agreement to sell its 100% interest in the Minto copper mine to Pembridge Resources PLC (LON:PERE). Located about 240km north Whitehorse in Canada&#8217;s Yukon territory, the Minto mine is currently on care and maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>Contingent on certain conditions, mainly that the mine reaches commercial production, Capstone will receive up to $20 million in installments from\u00a0Pembridge for the sale.<\/p>\n<p>Following the Minto sale,\u00a0Capstone says it will shift its focus on the company&#8217;s other operations, including completing the strategic process for its 70%-owned\u00a0<span class=\"xn-location\">Santo Domingo copper-iron project in Chile. Its other assets are two producing mines: the\u00a0Pinto Valley mine located in\u00a0Arizona and the Cozamin polymetallic mine in Zacatecas state,\u00a0Mexico.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Shares of\u00a0Capstone Mining rose by nearly 4% on Tuesday morning. The company has a market capitalization of approximately $163 million.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The post <a rel=\"nofollow\"
