{"id":1102443,"date":"2019-02-27T15:11:02","date_gmt":"2019-02-27T15:11:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mining.com\/?p=973874"},"modified":"2019-02-27T15:11:02","modified_gmt":"2019-02-27T15:11:02","slug":"terraxs-yellowknife-city-gold-property-gets-land-use-permit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/juniorminingnews.com\/?p=1102443","title":{"rendered":"TerraX\u2019s Yellowknife City Gold property gets land use permit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TerraX Minerals (TSXV: TXR) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.terraxminerals.com\/news\/2019\/terrax-receives-land-use-permit-from-mackenzie-valley-land-and-water-board-for-drilling-programs-on-its-entire-783km2\/\" rel=\"noopener\" >announced<\/a> that the Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board in Yellowknife, Canada, issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/mvlwb.com\/sites\/default\/files\/news\/1628\/attachments\/mv2018l2-0006-terraxminerals-additionalinformaitonad.pdf\" rel=\"noopener\" >Land Use Permit<\/a> that approves the company\u2019s exploration plan on all the land holdings of its Yellowknife City Gold property. <\/p>\n<p>The new permit, effective until January 2024 and extendible to 2026, replaces two previous ones that covered a smaller area. Photo by TerraX.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>With the new permit, the miner says it can now plan its summer drilling campaign as it allows for 20,000 meters of core drilling during the summer\/fall season.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mining.com\/web\/drilling-extends-strike-terraxs-yellowknife-city-project\/\" rel=\"noopener\" >Yellowknife City Gold project<\/a>\u2019s land package occupies terrains immediately north, south and east of the City of Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories. It lies on the prolific Yellowknife greenstone belt, covering 70 kilometers of strike length along the main mineralized break in the Yellowknife gold district, including the southern and northern
